This weed puller is simple to use and saves my back no bending required. The 4 claw pulls weeds out by the root, and the eject feature makes cleanup fast and easy. It’s sturdy, effective, and perfect for any garden!
This weed puller does fairly well on broad low-growing weeds such as crabgrass and dandelions. Often, though, I didn’t get the whole weed and was tempted to use the lever’s claw as a hoe to finish the job. For taller more wispy weeds such as Florida Betony (rattlesnake weed) it doesn’t work as well. The tines are shorter and closer together than I expected, so they don’t always go deep and wide enough to grasp roots. The device seems solid and sturdy, and assembly took only about 30 seconds. I really like the easy-eject mechanism. Using this puller is tedious if you have a large lawn full of weeds. It might be better for a flower or vegetable garden with isolated weeds and soft dirt. It’s not quite as effective as the product page suggests. But for its lower price than similar devices, it’s worth considering.
